As usual, TC has made early work for most of his offseason tasks. So, with little transactional news to munch on, and no Wolves involved in international competitions (sans Miller), it's been quite the monotonous month of August!
We do get little tidbits here and there, like guys working out together locally, ANT making a trip to China, and miscellaneous other items. Matt Lloyd was getting a jump on September news by making the rounds at the State Fair a couple days ago. Here are two interviews he gave to peak our interest once again.

I have really high expectations for what the Wolves will be this year. They should be neck and neck with the Thunder for the #1 spot in the West.

Flagrant Howl is my favorite podcast for the Wolves. Good mix, of normal fan emotions and actual good stats analysis.

I saw our Irish PG from Summer League, CJ Fulton, has signed with the Wolves. I assume it is an Exhibit 10 contract. (I haven't seen the signing officially reported, yet)

Re: It's been a SLOW offseason
I’m glad it’s been a slow summer because it means we haven’t done anything dumb. Matt L and Finch have both said the Wolves are focused on continuity and I think that’s the right thing to do. We have five players on really big contracts. One of those five, Ant, is apparently in the best physical shape of his career with 3% body fat and he was already arguably a top 5 player in the League last season. We have two first round picks from last season, one of them the #8 pick, the other looking like he probably should have been a top 10 pick. Randle and Donte are coming off their first season with the Wolves during which they were obviously adjusting. And I haven’t even gotten to Miller or Clark. It’s time to put these guys out there and see what we’ve got.
Having said all that, let’s not forgot that we had a quiet August and early September before TC dropped the KAT for Randle and Donte deal on us. So maybe this is again just the quiet before the storm. Stay tuned.
