Loong-Lions at Wolves Preseason GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

I was thinking of not bothering with this GDT since it isn't against an NBA team. I kind of assumed we wouldn't even see our starters in this one, but given that it is at Target Center, we might see a few of them. I gotta think Mike will sit this one out again (not necessarily his choice). It ought to be a chance to see a lot of the young players.

I also decided to make this thread because of the stuff going on in the Middle East. It warms my heart to see so many emotional events going on that are on a positive path. Time will tell how long this might last, but it is a day to feel good and celebrate.

Yeah, a joyous day in the Middle East. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the released hostages I saw seemed to be in pretty good condition. I was expecting to see skeletons. Let's hope this peace holds for a while!

And I'm sure most of us here woke up excited about the big game tonight! We don't know who will be in Finchy's rotation, but I think we may win this one. Gaungzhou's high scorer is Jamaal Franklin who had a cup of coffee in the NBA over 10 years ago.

I haven't seen who is playing tonight, but it sounds like all the vets will get the night off. The only one I wonder about is Shannon -- does he get the night off, or does he get a chance to be "the leader of the pack"?

I wonder if we might start Joan and Rocco together?!? Probably not. Sounds like Miller has been cleared to play.

As Tim suggested, all the vets are getting the night off tonight. Lenny is back, and I'm calling it right now...he goes 20/10 tonight.

I see Clark is out as well. They must have decided it was unfair to unleash his defensive prowess on the Chinese team!!

(well, that and the neck injury he is nursing...)

Kaminsky and Oladipo were good NBA players at one time. Wouldn't be surprise if the crew we're fielding struggle tonight.

Dilly doesn't look so tiny against this team.
