This will be the Wolves 3rd matchup with the Kings in less than 20 games. The Wolves have won twice. The Kings are coming in hot after going into Denver and coming out with a win, a team where the Wolves haven't even sniffed a win in two games this season. The Suns loss aside, the Wolves have done a good job taking care of business against weaker opponents. Sure would be nice to keep that theme going for this season.
Shannon practiced in full yesterday and is listed as "questionable" tonight. I suspect he will be available. The question is how will Finch use him? And where will those minutes come from?

It sounds like Keegan Murray came back and was a big reason they were able to beat Denver, hitting some timely shots. He's played in just two games this year for them.

Wolves are 6th in net rating. 6th on offense, 10th on defense.
Its really not all that bad.

Not bad at all.
It's good for the Kings to have Murray back, but they aren't going to win many games until Sabonis comes back. Drew Eubanks and Maxime Reynaud are not a very impressive duo at center. I think we are going to be feeling pretty feisty after the collapse in Phoenix, and I think a focused effort will put away a bad Kings team. I expect a lot of bully ball for Randle if they put Murray on him.
Good to maybe have TJ back...I think.

In spite of that there has been plenty of consternation about the defense but here we are, right on par with last season's rankingsWildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 24, 2025 10:43 amI would hope they'd look this way against two thirds of their opponents being awful teams.

Yeah, we really don't know enough about this team yet. But you know who has played an easier schedule than us? Unbeatable OkC! They've only played 3 games against teams with winning records...a double overtime win over Houston, an early season win over the Hawks when Atlanta wasn't jelling yet (they lost 3 of their first 4), and a good win over the Lakers. The rest of their schedule is filled with bottom feeders, and unlike the Wolves, they actually lost to one team with a losing record...Portland. Let's see how the Thunder look when they start playing teams like the Pistons or the Nuggets...or even us!WildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 24, 2025 10:43 amI would hope they'd look this way against two thirds of their opponents being awful teams.

Shannon is available tonight. I still don't think we heard when the bone bruise occurred, and if he was trying to play through it at the beginning of the season.

Quick start, which is usually a bad omen. Playing like shit now.
