How about them Cowboys? GWT
If we lose this one we can start thinking of next year in my opinion. Will we be able to stop the run? Will we ever see Shariff again? Will Diggs play?
Re: How about them Cowboys? GWT
This week had some good things happen to help the Vikings out wins and losses but it's not looking good. To me the Dallas game which I expect as a loss doesn't bury the Vikings exactly...maybe depending on what happens with other teams the rest of the week.

This is obviously going to be a tough one, guys...Dallas is offensively gifted, and the Vikings are as beat up as any Vikes team I can remember. An article in the Strib yesterday talked about how easy it is to move the ball against Dallas with short passes, and that of course is the Vikings specialty...we will score if we can stay away from dumb penalties like the one late in the game by Patterson that cost us the game.
But can we stop Dallas? I think it depends on how healthy our CBs are and if our LBs can make plays. Kendrick has been terrific this year, and Greenway has been remarkably steady. But Barr didn't make an appearance this year until last week when we finally saw the Barr we thought was going to be all-pro. If that Barr shows up again and makes a few big plays, we can steal this one and keep playoff hopes alive.
Does AP start practicing next week? I'm going to call it here. If we beat Dallas tomorrow, he's at practice on Saturday. If not, he's shut down for the season.

Good question. I think he comes back and tries to show people he has game left.

The season probably isn't over if the lose the Dallas game. Unless the Vikings are really out of it when AP can come back if he is healthy I bet he comes back. If not we got the amazing Bishop Sankey on the Practice squad now! YESS!!!!!!!

That's probably true, but our playoff chances will be greatly reduced if we lose tomorrow. Another factor in our favor though is our home field advantage...we're undefeated at home if Walsh can kick an extra point against Detroit. I'll be there and I'm bringing earplugs this time...you can't have a conversation with the guy next to you most of the time anyway due to the decibel level!
Good news on AP. He was sprinting on the sidelines at practice yesterday...not jogging, but sprinting. I recognize cutting is much harder on a knee than sprinting, but I still won't be stunned if he's at practice Saturday.

Another loss. Another reason to like the Vikings.
Every team has a breaking point. I think its' been very telling that the Vikings haven't used all the excuses available to them to find theirs. On a board where we discuss the woeful Wolves a lot... I think there's some relevance here.
A season like this, led by clear leadership and vision during adversity, can set the tone for an entire organization... for years to come. All that stuff analytics can't cover... "a culture of accountability" and stuff like that. It's been impressive/frustrating to watch.

Yeah, pretty impressive performance last night. After hearing so much about the Dallas offensive line all week, it was heartening to see our defensive lines push them around and stifle their running game. The blown coverage on the long pass play and the muffed punt by Thielen (I was sitting next to his agent at the game, and he was a little glum after) cost us a big win. Good game though.

Is there anyone here that can list out the O-line injuries player by player? It's unprecedented isn't it?
