What a game yesterday between the Gophers and Alabama! Alabama's entire bench was ejected after a brawl, and then after an injury and a foul-out, Alabama was forced to play the last 10 minutes with only 3 players! The Gophers are getting ripped for being outscored 5 on 3 and only winning by 5, but the game was never in doubt and Pitino managed the result in a classy way. The Gophers often ran the clock down and settled for a long two rather than taking an open three or working the ball inside for an easy bucket. Wait...the Wolves were off yesterday, so is it possible than Thibs filled in for Pitino...sounds a lot like his offense.
