This idea popped up on the Rubechat board, and I have to admit I have thought about it. Dozier's offensive stats have not been good in the bigs, but he is a potential Gold Glove second baseman and has looked outstanding in the field this year. I also loved his plate appearances during the KC series, and the KC announcers were gushing about him. They suggested he must have seen 25 pitches in his three game-opening at bats, and showed a lot of power too.
Rosario is a highly rated prospect who has hit well at every level, but nobody raves about his defense. With his lofty prospect rating, he's the kind of guy that might bring a good starting pitcher in trade. I'm beginning to think the Twins are going to have plenty of pop in their lineup in a couple years, and might need Dozier's defense and a good SP more than a good hitting second baseman like Rosario.
Would others be open to trading Rosario if we could land a good starter in return?

Re: Trade Rosario?
Depends on the starter, but don't forget that Rosario can also play the outfield. That's his original position. He's been one of the more consistent studs in our farm it would have to be a sure thing farm arm or in a package for a bonafied ace.
