Re: The case for Zach Lavine at PG
<t>I think the biggest thing hurting Zach and (and to a lesser extend Wiggins) on the offensive side they seem to be stuck in an isolation mindset. He hasnt developed any awareness for flow in the offense and seems to be holding the ball too much on offense trying to get things started or waiting fo...

Re: Thoughts about Kevin Martin
<t>I think Love could have called JJ out for launching stupid 3's everytime someone came to the scores table to sub him out.... but it's hard to do when he himself is taking defensive possessions off to complain to the officials and sulk about missing a 3 instead of getting back on defense. The team...

Re: Glen Fires the First Shots at Love
<t>First reading those quotes didn't seem so bad until each proceeding headline started getting bolder and bolder about Love on his way out.<br/> <br/> Granted it would be nice for him to take the better road with no comments and not that he was mis-quoted but what seemed to start off as a worry tha...

Re: Grading the 3-Team Deal
<t>It seems like they are using two different criteria for grading...<br/> <br/> Sixers plan for tanking would give them at least a B for helping their losing cause while getting a 1st round pick but not an A since it will be a late first.<br/> <br/> Wolves in the context they got a talent like Wigg...

Re: The Playing time of our young players
<t>I feel like we will see Lavine brought along similar to Rubio's rookie year where he basically came in at the end of the 1st and 3rd quarter and played as long as he was producing and being effective. Once he gets to the point where he is playing the entire 2nd and 4th quarter he'll get his chanc...

Re: Line ups
<t>Chase will probably settle into an early role that if he comes in and hits some threes he'll probably get 2nd half minutes in the game but he if comes in and doesnt hit some shots that would be it for the night.<br/> <br/> I honestly hope Brewer role ends up being pretty minor as just a situation...

Re: It is the 24th. What is next?
<t>I wouldn't be surprised if the only move we make from now until mid-season would be trying to ship out JJ. He seems like the only one on the team that will be a negative to have around if he's not getting his playing time. For how many times he would jack up shots when his sub comes to the scores...

Re: It is the 24th. What is next?
<t>JJ's definitely the odd man out but I could easily see Lavine and Mo playing primarily together with the 2nd unit to start the season. Mo has played plenty off the ball so it would give them the opportunity to let Lavine work off the ball while also getting time at the point to develop more parts...

Re: Trade is done!
I originally that Flip would want his veteran lineup to start but I also can't see them having a 2nd unit of Mo Williams with Lavine, Wiggins, Bennett and Dieng. Granted they can do the rotations a bit differently and stuff but with this much youth I almost think they will have to.

Re: The Love-Wiggins Deal Thread
How does those trade exceptions work again? Basically a salary filler so if we traded say JJ later with the trade exception we could essentially take back JJ's salary plus the trade exception?
