Yes, granted we can’t know what might’ve happened without the Rudy trade… but whatever it might’ve been is just a huge “maybe.” Whereas we “know” the Wolves reached the WCF in two consecutive seasons, and as you pointed out in another thread, could be in the mix for a third or better.

Agree. And it’s hard to argue with consecutive WC finals in the seasons following the trade.

But with Mike already limited to well under 20 minutes a game, his recent struggles on the court, and now his Achilles problem, maybe he should retire and join the coaching staff? Thanks for this good analysis, FNG, but I’m afraid it all adds up to #CoolisRight None of these guys is the answer to the Wolves point guard woes this season (or maybe ever). Time to retool this position. I like the suggestion of bring Kris Dunn back… he’s a much better player than the one we dumped...
