I don't know much about this Athletic writer, but I really enjoyed his in-depth analysis of the big trade. I agree with his conclusion that also mirrors many other analysts...this may be the rare 3-way trade that benefits all three teams.

Great find, kek. Funny, but I also feel so sorry for that little girl who lost her favorite player. Isn't it amazing that a young girl had such an attachment to a player? I'm guessing she's a daddy's girl, and watches a lot of buckets with papa!

Exactly what I felt when watching that clip LST. They knew where that was going (which is why they filmed it). Why would you film make that poor little girl cry?? People do anything for likes/clicks these days SMH!

I think I started reading Sam Vecenie a couple of years. He does a pretty big deep dive on every player in the NBA draft.

I think he does a solid job.

I don't know much about him, Abe, but I thought he did a very good job on this article. I agree with the conclusion...all three teams have reason to be happy about this deal. The Wolves and Lakers because it makes them better this year, and Utah because it makes them better down the road. Win/win/win.

Made it through the half way point, and I think the wolves are sunk. I don't believe KAT and Rudy can co-exist, and Jon K says they are all in on Rudy which likely means KAT being moved at some point. Interesting that it wasn't only DLO that had a problem with Rudy, as well as mentioning that Rudy had issues with Donovan Mitchell on Utah.

Some of the comments don't make much sense, particularly about the contract length with DLO. They should have assumed that would be the case when they traded for Rudy. It seems that no homework was done on RUdy's game before the trade. When they talk about Conley being a pass first PG, i noticed that both have averaged 5.7 assists per game.

Overall, it appears that TC got his ass handed to him on the Rudy trade and won't be willing to accept that.

I fear this, too.

And I never understood the painting yourself into a corner part with Russell either.

That's a good listen...thanks for sharing, Tim. Jon does such a good job analyzing the Wolves. It's been clear for awhile that the Wolves had to move DLo, and the lack of chemistry (both in the locker room and on the court) was just one of the reasons. Jon repeatedly says that the DLo was not toxic, but also says the Gobert situation was definitely a factor in the Wolves decision to move on from Russell. I mean, they were not going to coexist, and it was obvious which player had to go.

I also found it interesting that TC has said he wanted Conley here to makes sure Ant develops to his full potential. Conley is the consummate NBA professional, and I see his guidance as instrumental in Ant reaching his ceiling.
