None of our players are among the top 20 in the following advanced stats: EPM, VORP, BPM, and PER.
Last year Rudy and KAT were among the top 20 in pretty much every one.

Hmm. Interesting. Just more evidence that the two big guys don't fit well together and that Rudy doesn't fit as well overall with this team as he did with Utah.

Re: Advanced Stat Tracker 2022-23
Hard to stare at the latest individual stat lines and come to a ton of conclusions. As is the case with NBA advanced stats, you get conflicting indicators. But here are a few observations:
- The defense is materially better when Gobert is on the floor. Period. Not sure anyone would argue with that.
- On the other hand, the offense has been very mediocre when Gobert is on the floor.
- So basically, the defense is a disaster when Gobert is off the floor and the offense is a near-disaster when he's on it. Gah!
- DLO has been on a hell of a run since a really a poor start. Go look back at the 10-game tracker at how pitiful his numbers were and look at how far he's progressed. The question is whether he can keep it up...or not even keep it up, but just don't go so damn cold again. We just can't afford 10+ game stretches where he isn't shooting well.
- Ant's numbers are good, not great. But similar to DLO, they are trending in the right direction if you look back at his 10 and 20-game splits.
- Back to Gobert....he has been on top 5 offenses in Utah. There is absolutely no reason we can't make this work. Spread pick and roll, give Ant more ball handling responsibilities, don't force-feed Rudy and KAT in post-ups unless they have a really deep seal.
- Defensively, I just don't think we have the personnel other than Gobert to really be elite, so we have got to keep the offense humming as we integrate guys back into the rotation.

Team is now Top 10 in the NBA in eFG% and Opponent eFG%. This is something EXTREMELY rare historically for this franchise. It's the turnovers and opponent O-rebounds that are killing us this season.

Yup, he's a huge part of making that happen on both ends.
Re: Advanced Stat Tracker 2022-23
Wolves now Top 10 in Defensive Rating. Again, feels like the identity we're forming of late is the ability to get stops at critical times and lean into our defense. How refreshing.
Offensive Rating is not so good, but at least we can rationalize some of that with KAT and Little Mac's lengthy absence.

Since Jan. 1 the wolves are 16th in offense and 2nd in defense. Not bad at all.
