Kat can be annoying but let's not pretend Kat isn't a positive needle mover and a All NBA caliber player

Do you think we are going to be appreciably better when he comes back? I don't, I hope for modest improvement. If he comes back and we play at a .667 clip I'll give it to you. He's an uber talented offensive player, but the fact is he can make a bad team decent, but not a decent team great.

To be fair... do we have any evidence of that?

How many Timberwolves teams in the past have been decent without Towns?

Personally, I don't think he's good enough to be THE star on a really good to great team. But what about if he's with a mercurial scoring wing and another All NBA player?

I'm not real high on the Gobert + Towns + Edwards mix (obviously), but swap out Gobert for another All NBA-esque player and you don't think that team can be great?

So you're saying that Dlo/Gobert for Lavine/Vucevic trade has a shot?!? ;-)
