My dream scenario is that he becomes the idealized version of what Jarred Vanderbilt could have been - a multi-talented swiss army knife 4 that can rebound, lead the break, guard wings, provide some weakside shot blocking, hit the wide open 3, and be an assist receptacle in the dunker's spot that can catch the damn ball and finish plays around the bucket.

That is a pretty good and realistic ceiling for Minott q. That said, watching him play and move, there is a lot of potential there to be more. I have higher hope for him than Moore. Developing him is very important for the team and should be a focus for the organization as we loss 4 first round picks already and should work to find, develop and add young talents to be contributors or best case, starting caliber gems.

I agree World that there's more there than what Q described as his scenario for Minott. I think it's likely that Minott becomes what Q described. But Minott's ceiling is even higher than that in my view. The fact that Minott provides the rebounding and shot-blocking you like to get from your PF doesn't mean he can't also play the SF position. I see Minott as just about anything he wants to be except a PG if, while adding muscle, he also develops his shooting and further develops his ball-handling.
