Something is bothering Ant for sure. I hope he takes the week to rest and get treatments. Screw the Rising Stars Game.

Apologies guys.

It's my fault.

[Note: In other news... knowing going in that that the Target Center Parlour burger was going to be subpar compared to the original didn't make it any less disappointing.]

One note about the in-game experience...

Gary Trent Sr. must have had 21,275 minks killed to make the oversized fur coat he was wearing in the front row.

I was at the game and I'm definitely blaming Abe for the outcome.

I'm basically blaming Abe for everything bad that's happened since he went to the game, starting with the Wolves loss. Hell, have you seen what is going on in Ukraine? That's on Abe too.

Abe has to be stopped! The fate of the world hangs in the balance.

Most of our 401K's are down 2% today...does Abe even care about our financial security?

The Wolves lost last night because of poor shooting. That's pretty obvious. Interestingly, if you adjust last night's shooting percentages of all the Wolves players except KAT to match their season averages, the Wolves would have scored 13 more points. Without any other adjustments, that would have meant a one-point win. In reality, the Wolves margin would have probably been bigger because reducing missed shots by the Wolves would have reduced scoring opportunities for the Raptors. Keep in mind that most of our players have season shooting stats below their career and recent averages before this season.

I supposed tired legs might explain the dismal shooting last night. But DLO and Beasley shouldn't have particularly tired legs given the total minutes they've played this season compared to Edwards and KAT. At least DLO contributed some nice playmaking that gave his teammates some good looks. But Beasley gave us absolutely nothing last night. He would have added 5 points to our total if he had simply hit shots at his already disappointing shooting percentages so far this season. DLO would have added 5 points if he had hit his season averages. And Edwards would have added 9 points. Of all these players, Edwards is the only one I'll cut a lot of slack to because he's played a lot of minutes and had just sprained his ankle the night before. But he either needed to suck it up and deliver or Finch should not have played him. DLO has to deliver more as a shooter in a game like last night's. And I'm at may wits end with Beasley.

We'll have to see if the all-star break can rejuvenate our guys and get them back to where they should be. But last night's game is one the Wolves absolutely should have won. And that loss could end up being the difference between 6th place and ending up in a play-in tournament.

Let's just coin anything bad that happens an "ABE". It could be a loss, an injury, a drought, or even a death in the family. The following are sentence examples that could be used:

We took an ABE tonight
My dear Aunt Alice ABED away last week
He will be out 4-5 weeks with an ABE
That's two technicals, and he is ABED from the game
He needs to pull his head out of his ABE before the margin gets too great.
