One of them will likely wind up as a two-way player for Minnesota. Another should be a stash prospect. That third pick can either be used to trade up in the second round, dealt for a future pick, or used on another body they want to get a better look at in training camp.

Seems like these two picks makes Beasley and Naz Reid even more expendable in terms of trade scenarios that could land us a starting 4.

Koloko to Toronto at 33. That's a great pick for them and fills a need.

Lip, almost all your guys were taken by 19!

I have a hard time believing the Wolves couldn't have traded up a spot of two at a reasonable price to get Dalen Terry. Using a 1st round pick on Kessler strikes me as a wasted pick. We have an immediate need for a big that can be filled through free agency. I think there were MUCH BETTER prospects available, including Ty Ty. I like the Moore pick, but i haven't seen anything tonight that justifies the unprecedented compensation package the Wolves gave Connelly. I'm not proclaiming him the village idiot. But his first real test here has been s disappointment so far.

The moral of tonight so far is that the 2nd rounders' value this year was worthless. Even in our move up to 26, future 2nd's were used.

Koloko would have been a better pick than Kessler. He much more versatile defensively.

I'm thinking that tonight's picks might be part of a substantial deal in the works.

Come on Wolves trade 40 and 48 or 50 with Lakers and take Chandler or Liddell.

Christie taken at 35. Package two seconds and move up to 36 as Chandler and Liddell are there for the taking.

Obviously possible but they added 2 guys fits the wolves roster pretty nicely
