We get Walker Kessler.

I'm pretty sure he picked Bones much higher last year than many people expected. Maybe he knows what he is doing.

People liked Bones though. Bones made sense for that team. Bones is gonna wind up being their sixth man. All I see with Kessler is a guy who's good for 4.5 fouls per game, which will sadly be good for third on the team.

His offense is such a negative that it feels like we drafted Okogie but as a center.

Moore could be a rotation guy. Probably could fill that Prince void to be Ant's backup. I just don't know what the plan is long term to fill what will be gigantic holes on this team.

Connelly better be right because this team can't afford to botch picks, even #22, #26 and 2nd's.

Kessler can catch lobs. Cool. Who's gonna throw them to him? That guy is not on this roster.

Hot take but I'll stick to this: he's Udoka Azubuike.

Okogie wasn't over 7' in bare feet and a good rebounder.

Who is gonna pass to Kessler? There are 2 pretty good passers that play PG for the Wolves. McLaughlin and Russell.

You might be right Kessler might be Azubuike as he is one guy I thought of when I was thinking about big centers drafted recently. Statistically Kessler has better steal block numbers and Udoko simply couldn't do anything outside the paint. His best FT shooting year was 44%. That's obviously really bad. Would you have been ok with picking Mark Williams if he was available?

Without a doubt, because I think Mark Williams will be a better pro. I see an ability for him to grow offensively that I don't see with Kessler. I saw Auburn try with Kessler but I don't see him ever being having a offensive development to his game that will justify him being out there to do what he does best. There's more fluidity to Mark's movements, and in Mark's case, he's gonna have LaMelo Ball feeding him for the next few years. Our PG situation beyond next season is a mess and I don't see a way that gets fixed. Look at the 22-23 free agents at PG. It's bare. Look at the 2023 potential draft class at PG. It's bare. Connelly is gonna have to pull a rabbit out of his hat to fix PG.

What offensive upside do you see in Mark Williams?
