I know I can't get pissed at the team for losing against a superior team while they're missing four starters, but damn it they kept it close with energy and grit in the first half. The first several minutes to start the third they've been playing mindless basketball.

Rudy Gobert never gets a foul called on him. Unbelievable.

D-Lo saw one go down and went on a mini run of his own there. He's too good of a shooter to keep missing like this. Putting more legs in his shot it would appear based on the arc. Minnesota NEEDS him to be a shot-maker.

I'm losing my mind in this game. After Whiteside or Gobert set their 1st screen they don't leave the paint. I've counted possessions of 12 and 13 seconds straight of them in the lane

Down 11 heading into the fourth. They've battled, but man they just don't have enough juice to win this game. Malik and D-Lo have put up a valiant effort, but Minnesota is entirely too reliant on them to score points.

Gobert also gets away with a lot of contact on contests in the paint. He used his off-arm to prevent Naz from getting lift earlier in the game and there was no call. The refs just give him so much leeway.

Should be flagrant 1 with contact above the shoulders. It's a basketball move and the intent wasn't dirty, but should be flagrant 1, in my opinion.

Either Jordan McLaughlin isn't a good fit for what Chris Finch's system asks of him, McLaughlin forgot how to play basketball, or McLaughlin got too comfortable after getting paid, but he's been the worst version of himself this season. Numbers aside, the Wolves seem to get killed when he's in the game. I'm not sure what he provides to this team.

Minnesota gets another pull-up three from D-Lo and a three from Malik after a forced turnover. Wolves down seven with 5:29 left to play.
