Obviously super early but I'm curious to see how long Jake layman holds on to his starting spot.

He did a whole lot of nothing in the first half. I don't know how Jarrett Culver doesn't get in the starting lineup sooner rather than later either at the expense of Layman or Josh Okogie.

I agree. At this point I'd say Culver instead of Layman. Simply put, Layman isn't very good. He should be an end-of bench-guy you have in your roster in case of injuries.

This staff would ask Okogie to defend the opposing fours and allow Culver to be a wing defender in that scenario.

Layman clearly can't guard PFs either.

Also, Rubio isn't making me feel any better about the trade that brought him back to Minnesota. He's looked... not good, to say it nicely.

The only thing I see him as is insurance for a DLo injury and that isnt worth 17mil.

DLO isn't even worth $17 million. Aren't we paying DLO max and giving up all our picks next year for him?
