They made their 3's and we missed our's in the 4th - as simple as that. KAT, Wiggins, and Rubio all had multiple good looks at open 3's and they missed every damn one of them.
Kings shot 53% from the field and 50% from 3. You have to score a lot of points to overcome that kind of shooting night from your opponent.
I also thought the Kings moved the ball better. As well as LaVine shot the ball, there were a few times late he got tunnel vision and missed wide open guys. I think in one case he plowed in for a charge instead of kicking it out for an open 3.

You couldn't give Towns two better looks from three to tie and he just couldn't get either to fall. Wide open. Fuck.

Or at least a sixth man who can consistently perform night in night out.

KAT just has to hit one of those two wide open 3's. Has to.
Lavine was amazing overall but resorted to some hero plays in the end.
They shot lights out from 3, gotta give them some credit. Tolliver, smh.
Hard to believe Wiggins led the league in 3 point percentage a couple weeks into the season. Now he is making Rik Rube look like Ray Allen.
Damn.

I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers, but 6-19 shooting with 0 rebounds and 1 assist isn't good enough. Not even close.

Kings bench scored 45. Wolves bench scored 11. That's the problem right there.

Hero ball and no D, our 4th quarter mantra. Awful.

KAT needs to be told to man the paint and not try to be primarily a perimeter player. Calipari was able to get this through to KAT, but Thibs is either unwilling or unable to do so. Wiggs also settles for jumpers when he should be attacking the hole and he needs to cool it on taking so many shots when he's cold like tonight. I like Zach's shot selection but Thibs needs to manage KAT and Wiggins better.

Q, I agree Zach got tunnel vision a few times but I think he deserves some slack considering the night he had and second because I think he is consistently the one guys who tries move the ball with purpose on this team.
Somebody mentioned the ball movement by Sac, cousins is very good and kicking to open guys on the perimeter. He does this game in and game out.
We've really struggled moving the ball with purpose all year. It's a process, it's been a little better. Tibs preaches sharing and ball movement all the time. It's something he wants to see.
