Kat record in the Rosas era: 13-37 and are 4-30 in the last 34 games.

That is nuts!!

Is there a single player that Rosas has acquired that has done anything to significantly help this team's defense? That's where Rosas has failed tremendously. This team also has below average size, length, and athleticism at most positions. We play small without the ability to take advantage the other way. Poor roster construction meets a flawed vision and style of play. There are talented pieces he's assembled, but they're not being utilized to their fullest. It's all bad.

If you squint hard enough, you could see a starting lineup made up of players from the existing roster that could eventually compete in terms of shooting, defense, length and athleticism: KAT, Vando, McDaniels, Edwards, DLO.

The problem is 2/5ths of that group have only been healthy and available at the same time for like 4 games or so. The other 3/5ths are far from finished products and may never fully realize their full potential.

Not to totally hijack the thread, but if we collectively tried to list all the young players who made significant improvements to their game during their Wolves career - how long would that list be? I'm struggling to come up with names. Towns got better from year 1 to year 2. But he has pretty much been the same player the last 5 years IMO. That's not a rip - he's very good. But has he gotten better? Off top of my head, I'd throw out Kevin Love as the one guy I can think of who really improved significantly. I'm sure there are others. But how long is the list? That's why I'm having a tough time getting excited for any of the young guys. I rarely see them actually improve in the suck of a Franchise.

It's not long. Zach LaVine made nice strides from year 1 to year 2 and again in year 3 before he got injured. I mean there was measurable progress being made. He then resumed that trajectory after he fully recovered....in Chicago.

Otherwise, the list is really sparse of guys that really grew up and went from raw, young rookie to a very good player. Like you said, KAT has kind of stagnated. He's not much different now than he was a few years ago. At least with him he was actually good to start, so at least he's been a very good player. He's certainly not the unicorn we thought he could be though and a number of his contemporaries have passed him by.

The list is Kg, Love and to a lesser extent Towns. That's it. KG was winning games with nobodies. I'm talking before Cassell and Sprewell. He willed his teams to 45 wins. It's not an exageration to say it was on his own. Any player that Kg had on his teams early on ever left and became instrumental parts of winning teams after. He was the reason.

That's what she said. But seriously, it's pretty short. What a pathetic franchise!!
