Dunn was my top prospect because I think he can become a star in the NBA and now this creates the need for a trade or else less minutes for a talent PG, which is why part of me was hoping Hield would be the pick (because it would require no trades for him to be a great fit).

Either way we got a really talented player today.

This also makes the rest of the draft worth watching

Agree with yo (though I was torn between Dunn and Hield). I don't think we need to trade Dunn or Rubio just yet. Dunn hasn't played a minute in the NBA and Rubio is still a slightly above-average PG in the league. I could see Dunn playing some minutes at the 1 and the 2 this year, and if he really looks like he's going to pan out better than Rubio (no guarantee), then we can look to move Rubio before the trade deadline. Let's not jump the gun.

Unfortunately we don't know if any of the rumored trades were actually ones on the table or media fabrications. Dunn is a tremendous fit with Thibs.

Faried and Murray > Dunn and Bazz is an easy call though, and hindsight.

Russell > Dunn is a tough call but remains to be seen.

If it was a Dunn, Bazz, + filler for Butler sure, but that wont happen. If they want LaVine or Wiggins involved then Thibs has to run for the hills.

Dunn just seems like such a Thibs kind of guy. Can play both sides of the ball, especially on defense. I'd be surprised if we traded him without picking up a very good vet in return.

Now, Butler would certainly count as a very good vet! But I wouldn't include LaVine with Dunn for Butler because where would our 3 point shooting come from on the perimeter. I really hope the Wolves don't do that rumored trade.

trying to catch up I got back late from getting a "new" washing machine.

Dunn isn't my guy however its obvious he is HIGHLY regarded by a few teams so that encourages me. I'm interested to see if there will be a trade.
