Good for the Raptors. This will never happen to us, but I like seeing teams in circumstances and situations like ours get their moment in the sun.

Or the blessing of Patrick McCaw.

3 championships in a row with 2 different teams.

Gotta love guys like FVV showing up big like he did on the biggest stage.

I agree. This was a really fun series to watch. And I loved the outcome. It's great to see a team like Toronto gets its first NBA championship. And I like that the franchise was rewarded for taking a risk on Kawhi with only one season guaranteed. I really hope Kawhi re-signs with the Raptors. But even if he doesn't the deal will have been worth it. DeRozan was getting up there in years anyway and was never going to be the cornerstone of an NBA finals team much less an NBA championship. Kawhi brought Toronto a championship and I'm happy for their fans. Yes, can't say enough about VanVleet. And how about Siakam tonight? Congrats to the Raptors, their fans and the city of Toronto.

I think kd opts in due that ruptured Achilles. Now klay has a torn acl.

That is some horrible luck.

This would have been a sweep if it wasn't for his play in a couple games. And yes he was bad in 2 other games. Should they have signed someone else instead? Fair question. Maybe they should have brought in another Nick Young? Lol also worth remembering Durant took less money so GS could save a boat load of lux tax money to resign Iggy and then Cousins this year.

Glad the season is over. Is it bad that I am more interested in how KD and Klay's injuries will impact the offseason?

I would think KD opts in. I think Klay stays. Will Cousins have any value around the league?

Someone will still max out KD I think. Even if he's slowed down in a couple years coming back he's better than 95% of the NBA. He has length and is an outstanding shooter. I don't think a small drop in athleticism hurts him too much due to his strengths.
