Raptors in 6? I'll fully admit I'm flat out surprised.
Edit: I forget about Danny Green. Having guys like him and Kawhi who have won championships and other guys like Ibaka and Lowry that have been playing deep in the playoffs for years likely makes a difference.
Yep. Playoff experience was the difference. Milwaukee is the slightly more talented team. But Toronto had lots of playoff savvy.
I just think it's another example on how important shooting is in the NBA. Another reason why I don't want Tyus back.
They just left Bledsoe and Bledsoe is a far superior player than tyus.
And even with Giannis being a stud, loading up on him because of his lack of shooting also killed the bucks

The Bucks achieved the best record in the NBA and made the Eastern Conference Finals with Bledsoe. So I'll worry about the 3-point shooting of Tyus Jones once the Wolves have at least made the playoffs and even then not until we're at least a top 4 or 5 seed.
A couple more points.
First, the Bucks best player, Giannis, is a terrible 3-point shooter at around 25% and a terrible foul shooter. Both shortcomings were in full view in last night's gave 6. In contrast, KAT excels in both categories as a 40% 3-point shooter and 83% free-throw shooter. So KAT doesn't create the same vulnerability as Giannis on the offensive end.
Second, Tyus hit 38% of his threes in college. I think he can improve his NBA 3-point shooting with more playing time and more consistent minutes. Keep in mind he's still only 23 years old.
I'm not necessarily advocating that we re-sign Tyus. That depends on how much we'd have to pay him. I'm just suggesting that Milwaukee's situation says nothing about whether we should re-sign him. And whether we re-sign Tyus should be the least of the Wolves concerns right now. The Wolves need at least one more, preferably two more, all-star caliber players around KAT. Then we can worry about Tyus and other role players.
