I love watching Kawhi in post-game press conferences. He is the definition of cool. He doesn't show emotion, but you can feel that competitive fire beneath the surface. He's also dam smart. He answers questions directly, clearly and succinctly. Nothing phony or contrived about him. None of the typical cliches or platitudes. He really is unique among modern professional athletes. I can see how playing with him would give you confidence.

Yep. Green really came through for the Raptors tonight. It's amazing how talented the Warriors are. They lose Durant, Thompson and Looney. But they still have Curry, Iggy, Green and Cousins. But that's not enough to beat the Raptors as we saw tonight.

I still think the Warriors can win this series if Durant comes back before the series is over. Toronto should have won game 2. I went back and watching that game again. The Raptors missed two wide open, completely unchallenged 3-point attempts in the first minute of the game, then missed two more completely unchallenged 3-point attempts in the second quarter. If they had hit just one of those four, they probably would have won that game.

Yeah the Raptors should have won hat game but some credit goes to the Warriors for their defense in that 3rd quarter too. There was like 4 mins left and I thought there was basically no chance for the Raptors to get back in the game and then they still had a decent shot. The Warriors let them in but the Raptors were playing their asses off to get there. Like other have said in this thread this Raptors team is so good defensively. FVV undrafted not athletic enough Bligh Bligh Bligh is the guy the Raptors are putting on one of the best offensive players we have ever seen. It's quite the story. It doesn't hurt that he has some awesome defenders around him. How about Ibaka's performance last night with 6 blocks?!? I just wanted an interesting series. I'm getting it.

You're right about the Warriors stifling defense in the 3rd quarter of game 2. I thought that game was a good illustration of how important the first half and even the first few minutes of a game can be. Every shot matters and missing wide open shots really hurts. Those early misses and mistakes can get lost in the final analysis of games - especially when the team with those early misses build a sizable lead. In truth, Toronto's lead should have been even bigger heading into the 3rd quarter. But alas, it just makes for a good series and, like you, that's what I wanted.

Ibaka was tremendous last night. He also hit some big shots. He looked like the Ibaka we used to see with OKC.

The word stoic comes to mind with him, Kind of reminds me of Robert Parish.

Yes. And no.

Demarcus Cousins was the worst player on the court last night. He was atrocious... both on offense and defense. He was soundly outplayed by a washed-up Andrew Bogut in every possible way.

Green and Iggy offer so much to a winning team. But scoring at high volume, at this stage, is not among them. Both are top-notch, elite complementary guys in their own ways. GSW just won't win if they need them to be consistent, high-volume shooters/scorers.

As for the unchallenged threes... it's a "make or miss league." You could basically cite examples from every game. Ever.

Cousins was TERRIFIC in game 2 and yeah you make a good point he was not good in game 3. Dane Moore tweeted he would rather have the cash Chicago got over Bell in game 3. Ouch. Lol

Yep it's a make it miss league.

Speaking of that...What is Danny Green shooting in his finals career from 3 after last night 60%? Reminder every team in the NBA could have had that guy. FVV too. My sources from Wichita State tell me he is planning something pretty awesome for you calling him out and enabling him to go on this tear he is on.

They mentioned Danny Green is a career 51% three point shooter in the Finals... probably up to 52% now.

Ok you are right I looked it up he is now ONLY at 51.6%. He was 6-10 last night I thought he was more efficient. Of course those were the ONLY shots he took. Lol

Siakim has outplayed Green 2 of 3 games this series. I believe this matchup will continue to define the series. I think Green waiting until the post season to create a sense of urgency might finally be catching up to him.
