I'm assuming Rosas keeps a list of fairly high profile trade targets. I gotta believe Hield is on that list, albeit not something that can get done until the offseason.

Pope would need to waive his no trade clause that I don't see happening.

Also I would rather have Cov over Kuzma. Kuzma is talented but he isn't super young. Also in my opinion he needs the ball in his hands to be successful and I don't believe he is good enough at that to move the needle for the wolves

Cool.

Picking up Kuzma who's struggling mightily, shoots below average on threes and isn't known to be very good on defense... for 1.5 seasons... before they probably have to pay him more than Covington.

Very cool.

Covington is the best player of the three and we save only about a year of contract $ in the event Kuzma and Pope don't stick. This feels more like a wishful Laker fan/employee/agent initiated-rumor versus something with real steam behind it.

Rosas and Co. really need to have a high bar for RoCo. Two solid depth guys in exchange for an elite role playing wing simply isn't good enough.

Do they read this board because obviously it's the one trade I tossed out (two weeks ago?) that might work for both teams. Kuzma isn't as good as Cov but is cheaper and younger by 5 years. I'm not sure he is the ideal target though. I think we could do worse by just hanging onto Cov.

The problem is do any contenders have top picks available for trade? I don't know what teams have, I think a higher pick (top 10 range likely) would be ideal along with fillers.

Clearly the next move for the twolves should be to hire a new training staff. You've got a player who has been questionable for over 3 weeks now.

What gives?

Maybe KAT is on the block!

I just hope he doesn't develop a tummy ache. That one is good for another 4 games or 7-day absence...

Actually Wiggins and Teague are out again tonight with flu-like symptoms.

Is that even medically possible. Your body develops anti bodies to fight off viruses and infections, so how can you have the flu three times over a month period?
