Yeah much better than 6

You missed my point. We have been very lucky with pick 5 (KG, Love and Rubio) and unlucky at 6 (Flynn)

No I completely got your point.

Chalk. What a fucking joke. At least we know it's rigged now with Dikembe's tweet 3 hours ago congratulating them for winning the lottery before it was even held.

Think about the upcoming draft strictly from the perspective of the team's picking in front of us:

1. Who would you pick if you deciding for the Sixers -- Simmons or Ingram?

2. Obviously, the Lakers will take the one the Sixers don't take. So no need to ask.

3. Who would you take if you were picking for the Celtics at #3?

4. Finally, who would you take if picking for the Suns at #4?

Yep, 5 is our sweet spot. I think smiling Wes was a 4.

It's gonna be really hard to predict 3-4 because both teams are guard heavy (like to a crazy degree of bodies) and Murray and Dunn are the top guys on the board after Ingram, Simmons and Bender.

I think it's likely Dunn will be the guy left along with Hield. Top two are set. Boston needs size and or shooting, Bender or Murray would be likely. I actually think Ainge is more than capable of moving that pick. Then you have Phoenix, they need size badly, specifically at the 3-4 positions, they seem set with Bledsoe and Booker. I think depending on workout, Jaylen Brown could be in play there.
So as it stands now I see Bender and Murray likely going 3-4.

I agree that Simmons and Ingram go 1 and 2 and I am not sure what order. Boston needs scoring so I think they go with either Hield or Murray if they stay put at 3. But Boston has the assets to switch with the Lakers and take one of the Big 2. Since Boston has Avery and IT/Smart at guards, I could see them offering one of their other first round picks to the Lakers to swap spots. I really hope Murray goes 3, so we have shot at Bender or Hield.

Good guess, Duke. If you're right about 3 and 4, who would you take if picking for the Wolves at #5.

Hard not to be a conspiracy theorist when it comes to the NBA lottery.

1. Mutombo congratulating the Sixers 3 hours before this draft and then quickly deleting all his tweets.

2. Cleveland getting the #1 pick the year home-town star LeBron enters the draft

3. Cleveland getting 2 #1 picks after LeBron leaves, perhaps to compensate them for their loss

4. The Knicks getting the top pick the year home-town star Ewing comes out.

5. Perhaps we got the top pick last year as a perk to the beloved Flip after his cancer diagnosis.
