No way, Jim Pete says KAT is an "A" defender
Our guards and wings can't stop penetration and there is no one other than KAT on the floor to defend inside unless Vando is out there. But even Vando isn't that big and gets pushed around a lot inside. Meanwhile, KAT is completely responsible for nearly all the team's rebounding and interior defense. He's also expected to carry the offense. It's a ridiculous situation that Rosas and Saunders have created for KAT. Yet, even under those circumstances, KAT's defense so far this season has been good and maybe even very good.
I was the first guy to post that it was a ridiculous situation they put KAT in. So you're right. I'm just giving Jim Pete a hard time because he was ridiculous tonight.

I have an excuse, we have an owner that wants to go down with the country club in Ryan and Rubio
Rosas had and still his the freedom to determine the roster and the coaching staff. I've said it many time and I'll say it again. Glen lets his basketball executives do what they want. He let Thibs trade Ricky and make an assortment of deals. He let McHale and Flip do an illegal deal with Joe Smith. The list goes on.
Rosas chose Ryan to be the head coach. Rosas signed Juancho to a $7M per years contract as a free agent. Rosas has left us with a ridiculously unbalanced roster. And Rosas made the deal for Ricky, after trying to sign Ricky as a free agent last year. Rosas drafted Culver after trading up for a player he didn't get. Glen didn't force Rosas to make any of those moves. Glen's mistake was hiring Rosas. The rest is on Rosas.
But none of this really matters. The point is that the Wovles are a bad team. We don't have the right roster and we don't have a head coach to get the most out of the roster we have.

Fair point, Cool. You did make that point about KAT. And you're right about Jim Pete's hyperbole.

Absolutely agree that Ricky should be traded. The Wolves should also be shopping Culver aggressively.
Rosas gets an F. Theres no other way around this. If we somehow luck out with Edwards it will be blind. Ryan is outmatched, we have no PF who is ready to play the position. And our only chip was spent on a washed up back up pg.
