This is another trade opportunity to perhaps get picks. Ryan Anderson would address our shooting in a big way. If Houston could get us a pick too, that might be a good option for us.

I would prefer Lou Williams between him and Anderson. He would be an ideal 6th man I feel is a much more creative scorer then Anderson

I would actually consider taking on Ryan Anderson without any compensation from the Rockets.

Greg Monroe just took the player option in Milwaukee.

Just a tad under $18M. Any interest there?

I hear around town with the Blazers that they have been interested in Markkanen. If Isaac or other SF talent is gone at #7, Would a draft and trade to Portland for there cap saving asset plus draft picks be something we could get?

Would Markkanen for Harkless, 15 and 20 be worth offering to the Blazers?

I prefer Anderson over Williams too, but oof, that remaining contract is hefty. And while he would really help with floor spacing, his defense isn't great. Not sure I'd go there.....

But he's an unrestricted free agent after this next season, no?

Monroe seems fine in moderate doses of minutes, but seems easily exploited when having to guard the perimeter/in space.

If that could get the Wolves Zach Collins and OG Anunoby, Id be all on board.

If all goes well this offseason Dieng will be backing up the center position with Cole behind him in injury situations. I don't think Monroe is a great fit here especially defensively. I just don't think you can play KAT and him together which means the minutes won't be there. We definitely need more frontcourt scoring. Just don't think the fit is there with this one.

Tend to agree.

Obviously, we're not alone. I think Monroe's decision to take the money for this one season over trying to land a lucrative long-term deal speaks volumes on his current value around the league.

Assuming nobody from the Top 6 drops to 7, I'd consider this, however, I think its unlikely Collins slips to 15. Because of that, I'd either make the deal only if Collins or someone we like is sitting at 15 or if we get all three first rounders with Harkless. Some other targets besides Collins at 15 and 20 would be Frank N (15th now on DraftExpress Board), Kennard, Justin Jackson, Og Anunoby, Harry Giles, and at 26, Giles (26th on DE board), Swanigan, Robb, Hartenstien, Bell, Hart.
