Probably, yes. Although he'd be an upgrade in that at least he's becoming a hell of a shot maker and solid passer. I think defense is still a problem for him.

Wiggins is not a good defender, but he does offer more resistance than LaVine. Regardless, the gap between LaVine and Wiggins offensively easily trumps the gap in defense. Therefore, I'd prefer LaVine. None of it matters though. Sigh.

Wiggins still needs to show up for the other 3.5 quarters of games, and he does not get a pass for being bad in those minutes, but yes he has shown up late in two of Minnesota's wins.
Imagine him playing like that for the entirety of his minutes...

I posted that tongue in cheek because I've taken some flack for being too anti-Wiggins. Just giving credit where it's earned even if he was lacking much of the game and I still don't believe he'll ever be a consistent plus player.
