Yep.
At least for me... all I've wanted to see was improvement. As a Wolves fan for 30 years... I'm used to being patient.
Cool I can't believe you didn't write on Wig!! Seriously what an unbelievable game. I know I've posed recently how his play has really improved recently I though. His aggression and and engagement just seem elevated to me. Thx for the write up, I'm still in shock!!
Side note, I bought a subscription for the athletic last night because I wanted to read Brit's article on Tibs. Apparently Jim Pete was recently banned from practice. He didn't get into details as to the circumstances, but found it interesting.
Just finished watching the game a few minutes ago so i'll post my thoughts here.
I had the NBAtv broadcast. It was ok but not the best. They had no idea Teague and Schroder are still Terry good friends. McHale was on for a quarter and his takes were interesting in a good way. He also called out an official by name and number for a bad call and said he hadn't developed since McHale last coached. The crew was laughing about it over and over the rest of the broadcast. There was some terrible officiating in this game. I can't believe Teague got ejected.
Hell of a game. Wiggins was just amazing. Played tough came up with big plays. Tyus was big. Teague when he was in was pretty good. Tolliver helped them. Towns was in foul trouble and didn't have an awesome game but still was plenty effective. Just a big game and everyone had a hand in it. Hard to come up with the big play of the game. Very entertaining game.
I forgot to say it before but awesome to see the 2+1 back!
LST on Okogie's do shot stats...they had him down for 1 block...what? I thought he had like 4. I agree he wasn't particularly good in this game but there were times he made some plays on d and the NBA announcers were befuddled as how he wasn't getting the charge calls. Now Josh gets the benefit of the doubt quite about as he plays pretty intense physical D but he did some good things out there and to be honest they didn't really have anyone else that I would rather have out there.
Teague did some good things...he had 5 steals. He was absolutely cooking early on in the game and that's against OKC.

Duke, i talked a little more about him in the body of the thread. I loved the tiger that came out of him down the stretch. I have to be careful about how much praise i heap on Andrew due to my reputation on the board.
Man, if i knew you guys liked this bit so much i would have brought it out sooner. I won't do it every game but I promise to make it a more regular occurrence. Thanks again for all the kind words.

We well know that his focus and intensity differs from night to night. Obviously last night he was ultra engaged. When he's that competitive he can be really fun to watch. I'm not sure exactly what play it was down the stretch, it might have even been the eventual 3 by Josh. But Wig was out near midcourt with the defender right up on him. He just stood there palming the ball, right arm extended away from the defender. With the groove he was in, I was thinking Oh Man, this is going to be good. And he didn't disappoint. You could see all of his teammates deferring to him in those last few possessions. They obviously could see and knew he was having a special moment. We might not see it again for a while, but man it was good.

He exuded a confidence that i hadnt seen before. Normally, i think that gets poked away.

Pretty sure I made a thread at the start of the year called Sab's 2+1 where my two things I didn't like was you not doing 2+1 anymore...
