Now get it done quick so the new guys have a prayer at having a well scouted draft. We should have a new coach and POBO before the playoffs end.

Hallelujah! I was not looking forward to another season with Sam. To win a champisonship this team is gonna need a much better coach (Van Gundy please)

I agree.

Isnt Van Gundy a HUGE Thibs supporter? If Thibs wants this job, Van Gundy will back off immediately. Any chance they would join forces here????

That would be a interesting Duo. I must say, I absolutely love listening to Van Gundy game analysis. For me he gets it, and if Thibs can get this young talent to dedicate themselves to greatness....he can get them to reach it.
Pipe dream for me of course but Glen made the right decision tonight to allow this process to begin

Just get Thibs and be done with it. He has won a bunch of games and has a track record of developing players. He isn't perfect, but I think he is the best available.

Maybe I am late to the party, but why are we so big on Van Gundy? I like the guy's commentary on games and he had some success, but I worry he has been out of coaching too long.
My choices would be...
1. Scott Brooks
2. Dave Joeger
3. Luke Walton
4. Thibs
Not necessarily in that order.

This is all smokescreens... The wolves new coach and PBO will be Kevin McHale.
I'm kidding, but wouldn't that be a classic wolves move?

It's gonna be Thibodeau.
I think Garnett helps grease those wheels (Taylor's ear) to make that happen.
[Note: Not gonna lie. Part of me wants it to happen just so Cool and I can stop agreeing on stuff and get back to being each other's nemesis. It just feels more natural. :thumb: ]
