I've been for him since the beginning but it has been a roller coaster. It struck me that Thibs was going to be big for him. I know he likely wants a bigger role and thinks he can give more. This may ultimately be what makes us have to lose him. I'd like to keep him around but if could really mean upgrading multiple positions then it's hard to justify the money we would have to give him for the 7th player in the depth chart.
It all matters what he will make and what his value is. He would be like a great 7th or 8th man just to bring hustle but you are right hard to have him do that if he gets paid
I love non-PG dominant offenses that rely on passing bigs like Jokic and a bunch of cutting and movement. Pretty stuff, but we need to do better defending it.
