Nice stat. Keep em coming.

Here is the thing if it is like this next year or the next couple of years not going to be happy.

I got joy tonight for actual results on the court and not going the lotto balls go our way.

We will probably get swept but I will be excited to cheer my ass off in those upper deck seats in game 3.

I will cherish my first ever playoff game live in the arena. I'm content with that.

I hope the wolves get better but we finished 2 games out of the 3 seed with our best player missing a quarter of the season.

I'm happy tonight. And i'm not going to let the ultimate goal take over my joy today.

Enjoy your time. That is awesome. We got extra basketball. Hard not to get excited about that. Now we get to test ourselves against the best. Let's see how Thibs can coach now.

Whew. Maybe I'll read the thread tomorrow.

Just got done watching the game on DVR. I'm tired.

[Note: That last possession in regulation though... ummm...]

You're not a fan of the Jamal half court fade away? This game was a manifestation of all of the narratives of this board, exhausting and exhilarating all at once.

That's for sure, Doper. The worst thing about that last play in regulation was the fact that KAT had great position to take the in-bounds pass with Plumlee guarding him just outside the paint. Then suddenly, KAT spun away from Plumlee and cleared out to the other side of the court. It was clear that's what KAT was supposed to do in a play called by Thibs. Yet, KAT was the guy who should have receive the ball. Plumlee couldn't stop KAT all night when he was forced to guard him. So while I'm thrilled by the win, I haven't become a Thibs fan; that's for sure. :).

Obviously, we all want the Wolves to beat the Rockets, but I think that's pretty much impossible unless both Harden AND Paul get injured [unfortunately] based on what we've seen in their matchups this season. They have too much firepower and they're clicking on all cylinders. I'm pretty sure when Harden-Paul-Capela have played together this year, they're something like 44-3. That's insane.

However, I don't think it's out of question to think we could take it to six or seven games. Sure, we're technically an 8-seed, but we're not an ordinary 8-seed. We were just clutching to the 3/4-seed about a month or so ago. This team has two players in the conversation of All-NBA honors, for crying out loud. The top-end talent is there. Our starters can hang with any other team's in the league. I firmly believe that and the numbers would support that. The depth, however, is just not there. The disparity between the two teams in that regard is too much.

I think it's likely the Wolves steal a game at home and make a couple other games close. Should be a good/entertaining series regardless of the outcome.

That shot acrawford took wasn't even a fadeaway it was like a flick shot that so bet he doesn't practice much from out there. Not sure what the plan was but nobody was happy about it afterwards.

That play with 1.6 left was horrific. Why was Crawford even that far out? It made no sense.

Take a chance and throw it in the paint, if KAT can catch it he's going to have a short look and a high percentage shot, better then heave ho from Minnetonka. A turnover does nothing with a second left, time runs out.

That just felt like too safe.

Actually I liked that, maybe a way to blow off some nerves. That should help him down the road with confidence. He can always go to that mentally.

I'm sure you are referencing when he and KAT were joking around after they got throttled on the bench. That wasn't a good look.

And Plumlee was guarding KAT!! As I said, that's on Thibs. The play called from the bench obviously had KAT clearing to the other side of the court. Now perhaps, that was the secondary play and Teague had the option of quickly inbounding to KAT. If that's the case, then it's on Teague. I didn't like having Teague inbound the ball in the first place. He's not particularly good at inbounding and his height limits his vision.

You could see Teague on the bench as they cut to commercial and he put his hands up in exasperation as if to suggest "What did you expect me to do..."

But I put it on him. I don't think they were near a 5-second call yet and he missed an open cutter (Wiggins? Butler?) right in front of him (still not a great shot, but imminently better). As noted, a TO doesn't hurt there. I think Denver was out of timeouts.
