He's not even an option in my mind.
All other things being equal, I'd opt for Bazemore over Lou even though I like both. Lou seems a bit duplicative of Crawford except that Lou is a better three-point shooter. Bazemore would give us a 2-way player with size who can play both the SG and SF positions. I think that's what we really need now. However, Bazemore's contract is more expensive than what Lou has or would likely get. And I think Lou is clearly the better scorer and better three-point shooter. Given our need to improve from behind the arc, I see the case for Lou.
The question is what would we have to give up to get either one. I'm not interested in giving up our OKC pick for either one. I'd rather not trade Gorgui either because we'd be really think up front if Taj or Towns went down for any length of time. But I don't see us getting either one without giving up Gorgui or our OKC pick -- maybe both.
Ultimately, I don't see the Wolves making any major deals involving Gorgui or our pick by the deadline. Instead, I can see us moving Bazz for someline like Luke Babbit. I'd like that deal, but I'm not sure the Hawks would go for it.
