Yep, Knicks game is important and should be another close one...hard to be optimistic though until we actually win a close one.

Some optimism still in the poll as a majority think we win 6 or more of the 15 December games. Even if we win only 5, our winning percentage goes up :-? .

There hasn't been much to celebrate this season, so let's at least celebrate our improved forecasting skills. First, kudos to Monster and Future for correctly forecasting the 6-9 December record (an improved winning percentage, but the way...we're coming!). Secondly, almost exactly half of the board predicted fewer and more wins for the month, the first time I can remember our group forecasting being somewhat accurate. Unfortunately, it seems we have been worn down by the ineptitude, and are able to see better what this team is right now.

Anybody want to tee up a January prediction thread?

It's ok everybody, no need to panic. We have, um, the best young talent in the league, ahhhh, "we comin" and all that good stuff. Free agents will um, still wanna come here and play for our great coach. Ehh, go wolves??

I had a victory speech written up but I want to share the spotlight with Future and thank everyone on this board for helping me get to where I am today.

In all seriousness 6-9 isn't great but it's a solid improvement. 7-8 would have felt pretty good actually so being one loss off that is decent. January hasn't started off too great though so we will see what that month ultimately brings.
