Sam Mitchell for another year?

My opinion is focus on the POBO first and figure out Sam later. I like the idea of Danny Ferry. I think he would do a great job here. Except he is not part of the country club and had that falling out in Atlanta that was pure BS.

Ferry would seem like a solid hire.

Someone on the internet a brought up that KG stuck up for Casey and a few weeks later he was fired and Wittman took over. Does anyone remember if that is sorta what happened?

Regardless I think I wouldn't read too much in this endorsement from KG. I'm sure KG see's that Sam is doing a good job in a number of aspects (even if he is not doing well in others) and knows Sam is the coach for the rest of the season and felt the need to endorse him and he and Sam are pretty close.
