Nah, I get where cool is coming from. Yes, the Gobert block was great, but not that remarkable considering his 8 foot wingspan. But the second dunk was something special. I would argue that Gobert blocks that shot against 95% of the players in the league...he's long, athletic, and has excellent timing. And it looked like Gobert was going to get this one too. But Wiggins showed an almost unbelievable ability to get just a couple inches higher...almost more like flying than jumping, because he seemed to adjust in mid-air to add just a little more height. A truly exciting moment in the midst of a terrible game, as was the subsequent block.

I love Lavine's potential. You can just see he's oozing with talent

Sometimes, I think you work far too hard to incite negative responses.

Just tired of the attitude that our players suck, and everybody else's are better for no other reason that they play for somebody else.

If LaVine stays aggressive, hits the gym this summer, stops shooting the foot on the line long two, and figures out how to fit thru picks on defense, he just might be a prized possession for the next 5-7 years. He has the ego to be great, willing to take the big shot, not afraid of contact on drives and his 3 point shot always looks like it is going in. Maybe some work on a floater and the dump off during drives... Anything else I am missing?

I just want LaVine to get stronger physically and watch a lot of film, play a lot of controlled basketball. If he can do those two things, I think we'll see more of the star we all hope he becomes.

I single out Gobert because he really has made a massive impact on Utah's team defense and the fact Wiggins made some poster-worthy dunks on him doesn't change that fact. They have gone from 27th in the league in defensive efficiency to 1st since the all-star break and are sporting a 14-7 record. That is incredible when the only big change they have made was replacing Kanter with Gobert. Now tell me which first or second year player from Minnesota (or any other team for that matter) has made a similar impact?

How in the world do you get to that conclusion?

By the way, you realize the Wolves are 16 - 58, right?

How many players in the league would you trade Andrew Wiggins for?

My answer? LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis. Other than that, nope. Gotta roll the dice with the young wolf.

Taking age and contracts into account... not very many. Off the top of my head, Anthony Davis is the only one I trade him for without blinking. But, what's your point?

Am I not allowed to write that an opposing player also shows a lot of promise or made a good play?
