Hmmm, while I wouldn't trade anything of value for Embiid, I'd offer up Bennett. Would they bite?

Re: Potential Draft Deals
The "trade Ricky" stuff, especially for something in this draft is out of hand. They're not gonna stop making good PG's after this season. Give the team a chance to be healthy and develop the chemistry they need because we will have our pick again next year, we will struggle, and given how many trades you guys wanna make, we're gonna wanna make more wholesale changes next year. If we don't get anything out of our PG situation now, get Kris Dunn next year.
as a New Yorker (btw, I'll be at the draft representing), I can tell you right now they are not gonna go all out to try to placate Carmelo Anthony. He's not going anywhere and they know he's not getting any younger, but they also know they can't rush this process. The fans wanna see a winner but they wanna see it done right and selling the farm, even for Rubio, isn't gonna get them to where they wanna be, so I think you guys can put to bed any thoughts of the Knicks trading the #4 pick for immediate help now.

Re: Potential Draft Deals
I'm posting this because its a basic deal that been suggested on this board but this is laughably even more generous to the Wolves than what I remembered was suggested and some Raps fans think it's a good idea. I'd drive up to Minny myself to drive Bennett to the Airport and even take him out to eat beforehand if this deal happened. Lol

I don't think they'd do Greivis for Anthony, but if I'm wrong about that, then I'd be all over it.

I honestly think he's going to have an injury plagued career ala Oden and wouldn't trade anything of value for him. I seem to recall someone suggesting we trade the top pick for Embiid so I guess David Kahn does really post on this board.
More than one has suggested that.

To be fair it was more like #1 pick for embiid and sixers, pick

KiwiMatt wrote:Anthony Bennett, 31 & 36 to Toronto for Grevis Vasquez and 20
Draft:
1 - Karl Anthony Towns
20 - Tyus Jones
Trade Chase Budinger for non guaranteed contracts and/or future 2nd round pick.
Sign KG, Jeff Taylor and Justin Hamilton.
Rubio / Vasquez / Jones
Martin / LaVine / Bud
Wiggins / Muhammad / Taylor
KAT / KG / Payne
Pek / Dieng / Hamilton
Let's hypothetically say the Raptors do this trade. (I don't think they would)
At 20, I'd look to pair that with Bjelica and see if I could get in the lottery. I see Stanley Johnson falling in mocks. I'd love to come away with Towns and Johnson this year. Man, oh, man.

Holy defense Batman!
Re: Potential Draft Deals
Is charlotte still open to trade their pick if they can unload lance stephenson in a deal? I think dieng + bud + our 2nds might have a chance.. Dieng gives the hornets a solid guy to backup big al and can also play with al. they get two early 2nds and a rotation guy in bud. Do you guys thinks its possible? Lance is a headcase, we might have to buy him out but obiviously the catch would be the 9th pick.

Exactly, and even with the Embiid setback this week, I still would love it from the Wolves standpoint...assuming something isn't found in a physical which is deemed to be career-ending. To pick up a talent like Embiid in exchange for moving down two spots in a draft with so much talent in the top 5 would be grand theft larceny.
Pipe dream, though...Philly wouldn't do it. I think they are comfortable waiting to see who falls to them at 3.
