I would love to sign Austin Pasztor and have him compete for a RG or RT spot.

I liked Matt Kalil and hope he proves them wrong and can stay healthy.
I like him too and wish him well but I'd take Rieff for similar money.

I agree. I like someone that has proven he can play and stay healthy.

What do you think of the Datone Jones signing?
I think it's interesting they signed a guy like that for just under 4 million. I think he is going to be playing inside a lot. It's weird that the Packers had him slimmed down based on his draft profile. He seems more of a d-lineman built very powerful and isn't a fast guy.

I didn't know much about him or how he played for Green Bay.
I would think you are right. He looks like a good fit for us as a pass rushing DT. It does seem odd how the Packers used him. I think he could blossom here.

That is a good thing. I was worried about losing him after Cap left. I am looking for better things from Waynes and Alexander this year.

I feel relatively good about Waynes wherever they put him but Alexander was shaky. I still like him but he may not be ready for prime time. The Vikings don't have anything proven behind those 4 guys. I believe Sherels is competent in small doses but his value is being a guy that can come in and not give up a big play and obviously as a returner and ST player. They probably need to add some sort of player with experience at that spot. It's supposed to be a good CB draft too. You can never have enough CBs and the Vikings aren't stocked there.
Re: Vikings 2017 Off-season
Thielen stays. I figured it would happen but I am glad to see it's done. I bet the guy got paid. I'll be curious what the numbers are.

Big restricted free-agent deal:
Vikings and WR Adam Thielen reach agreement on three-year deal, per source.
Thielen stays in Minnesota.
-Edit: contract details. Personally I think it's a bargain based on what other guys have gotten.
Vikings giving WR Adam Thielen 3-year, $17M deal that could get to $27M with incentives, including $11M g'teed, per source.

Glad they got it done. Seems like a lot. I like him as a player, but there was some bargain FA's this year.
