Re: KAT vs AD
I was very concerned about his skinny legs and perceived high center of gravity, but he's actually done better than I thought holding his ground on the interior and in some cases flat out stuffing guys on one-on-one post moves. He's only going to get stronger and better.

I think once Pek starts practicing with the team it will be interesting if we slide KAT more to PF. I think KAT will benefit a lot from going up against Pek in practices. It will help understand how much stronger he needs to get.
i would like to see some PEK smash, with KAT protecting rim as 4 .. so we would not get raped hard as we were used to .. PEK is not a piece for future but if this works, we might get some value out of him
If Pek could really somehow come back to his form from 3 years ago I would love to fit him in as a regular piece to this team. I am coming around to KAT eventually being a 4, especially if he can improve his shooting from 3-10 feet. You look at a player like Duncan that is where he made his living.Amazingly, his post finishing and 3 point percentage are the only areas of his shooting that are weak so far. It is impressive for a man his size no doubt.

Lip, I wonder if you're prepared to share some more of your experiences from communicating with Flip. A couple of months before the draft, Flip was making some comments that had us wondering if he preferred Okafor. Can you share any insights on Flip's thoughts on KAT before the draft. Was he sold on him from the beginning. Was he convinced we had a superstar on our hands? I'd love to hear any insights you're prepared to share.

Here's an article making the case that KAT should be considered for the all star game. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2597294-karl-anthony-towns-is-tomorrows-nba-all-star-today
