Good to kno about how Flip feels about SL. Team doesn't need any shooters so why even try to find some and give them a shot on this SL team. Young guys don't need to learn that great preparation equals flaws execution. It is more important that they learn we don't get to serious about things with the Wolves. I think the Wolves have learned to accept losing. Its okay it is only the summer league. It is okay we had some injuries. It is okay.

Heh, it is sort of funny that the same things that for years have been a problem with this team: poor shooting, defensive breakdowns, and lots of losing was mirrored by our summer league squad. Meanwhile, San Antonio's culture and system seems to permeate throughout the organization, no matter what the setting. Here they are, without any blue chip players on their roster, in the SL semi-finals game.
I know, I know....SL is meaningless. But it's never fun to lose.

I think it is careless to say it is meaningless. If Flip doesn't think SL is serious then what message does that send to the players. It would tell me to go out and have a good time. Enjoy yourself.
It seems like a lost opportunity to build. Certainly doesn't help Ryan's in trying to build a career. It certainly makes me think Becky is the real deal and Ryan there because of his daddy. I like Ryan and he seems like he might be able to build into something, but if I was him I would be questioning if staying in the Wolves organization is the right thing for me.
