I'm sorry, I didn't know much about his potential suitors...was this expected? This blindsided me.

This makes my day. Still have a soft spot for the Bucks, and love to see a small market team win one.

I find it hilarious and awesome. We can debate whether he's overpaid now or not, but what's REALLY important is the fact he chose Milwaukee over LA and NYC.

What was I just reading in this thread about MN not being that attractive yet? Look at the Bucks. We were 3 injuries away from being in a similar boat as them and now we add Towns/Jones. This shit is about to go off then next 2 years. WE'RE ON THE RISE!

Are we really that excited over the Bucks giving a second-tier player a max contract?

lol did you even read what I wrote? I literally started out saying we could debate whether he was overpaid or not, but they key was that one of the top FAs this year passed on LA & NYC to go to Milwaukee of all places. Besides the NBA has been giving 2nd & 3rd tier players max or near max money for a while now.

@WojYahooNBA: Sources: Two athletic, free agent forwards rising as priorities for the Knicks: Derrick Williams and Corey Brewer.

It's hard not to chuckle a little although getting them getting either does make sense.

Is there anyone that's agreed to terms so far that you wish the Wolves could have gotten (if we hypothetically had cap space) for the same deal?

Leonard is the only one and he was restricted and not going anywhere anyways. I think this free agency has shown a team needs to draft well and add it's final pieces in free agency. I'm not sure a team can totally build through free agency anymore.

Jordan to the Clippers?

Wonder if there would be a trade market for Pek with either LA team?
