I think that may very well be the point LST. Has to be the reason they gave Rondo a one year deal.

Just think of the headache they could have saved themselves if they just would have made the smart moves and kept Malone and drafted Elfrid Payton and Justise Winslow. You have 3 good young pieces in Payton, McLemore and Winslow and only one head case who at least earns that right on the court with his play.

Vlade divac was a high basketball IQ guy in his playing days. He seems head over heels in his role as kings gm. Im not sure what the plan is if there is even 1 for divac. If they where trully offered the number 2 pick and parts for cousins then they should have just jump at it. Now we have cousins, george karl and rondo. Something has got to give there.
