Yeah, provide some vet leadership from the bench, help out Tyus and LaVine in practice, I'm all for it. My top target would still be Jameer Nelson but he would probably have to get playing time over Tyus. Whatever, I would just really like a vet backup PG to give the second unit some stability.

Luke is obviously a cancer he just keeps getting traded I want no part of that around the young guys.
In all seriousness I've always liked Luke and I would support bringing him back assuming he can still play. It will be interesting to see what Tyus, Brown and even Heslip look like in SL.

They may get Amare as well, giving them good bench depth to go along with a very good starting 5. The Heat could be a dangerous team in the playoffs if healthy.

I agree. Deng/bosh/whiteside/wade/dragic is a solid five. Capable of beating any team any given night. They have probably the steal of the draft in winslow falling to them and green at 1.4m is a bargain.
Winslow and green are good backups for wade and deng. Amare fits the heat's offense style. McRoberts if healthy is a solid rotation big and chalmers and napier are there for pg depth. They could be sneaky good as long as bosh is healthy and wade can stay relatively healthy.
Holy crap, it's a mad, mad, mad world. Kanter has some skills offensively and does a decent job on the glass, but he can't defend worth a damn. That is a lot of money to pay a one-way player. But I guess we need to tear up whatever notions we had of fair pay in the NBA and recalibrate. We've seen a few of these this cycle.
