If they where trully offered the number 2 pick and parts for cousins then they should have just jump at it. Now we have cousins, george karl and rondo. Something has got to give there.
Don't know if it's a translation issue but since it's the second time you posted it, the phrase is "in over his head". Head over heels refers to falling in love with someone/something. I giggle a little bit because I think you're accidentally saying he's in love with his role as the GM when I think you mean to say he doesn't really know what he's doing.

Going to be very interesting for sure. These types of scenarios usually play out in larger markets, Sacto just doesn't seem like your typical place for a zoo-like situation.

haha. thanks for the correction khans. Of course i mean in over his head.
I doubt Divac calls the shots. I think it's the crazed owner. If that Lakers offer for Cousins was legit and the Kings passed it, then they are morons. Meddling owners ruin almost every franchise.

I'm a Pek fan, but I find that scenario interesting. The thing I don't like is sending him to LA. Just throwing it out there.
I think both LA teams would prefer hibbert over pek.
Yeah they might. Then I just thought maybe even just a swap of the 2 and leave LA out of it, but suspect IND might want to just shed salary.
Indiana is looking to trade hibbert to shed salary. They wont take pek and 3 more years of him. No team would trade for pek now until he starts playing and stays healthy.

If healthy Pek is a good player and quite frankly a really good fit with a lot of this roster on both ends of the floor. I am taking whatever we get out of Pek as a bonus right now though I'm probably being too pessimistic about him. It's a coping mechanism.

I agree with you here monster. My point on pek is no team would currently trade for him unless it can be guaranteed that he is healthy and can play out the duration of his contract in good health. That isn't the case right now.
That said, if he can actaully be healthy then he is a good weapon for us. With the cap jumping upward. A healthy pek is actually an asset to this team.
