Beggars can't be choosers. If Russ is available and we can obtain him for a package that does not include Culver and Okogie (unlikely), I say you do it.

Wiggins, Teague, Dieng, Napier, Graham, 2020 1st

For

Westbrook and Gallinari

That's a playoff team with some excitement. I know it may not be "best for our future" but goddamn. I just want to have fun basketball again.

If that's the deal, then the Wolves should do it. Unfortunately, I think we'd also have to include another future 1st and either Culver or Okogie at a minimum - probably more than that. I wouldn't give more than what you have included.

Wolfson said he heard Russ is interested in Miami. Someone said on Twitter Lowe mentioned that as a spot also. I want to see Butler and Russ together both for the possible craziness that would insure and also because they are both such competitive guys they could be fun to see on the court. Miami has floor spacing bigs now. If OKC wanted to rebuild on the fly Winslow wouldn't be A bad start and he is on a pretty reasonable deal at 13 million a year for the next 3 years. If that 3 point shooting is for real he is a nice player because you can sorta slot him at a bunch of different positions. I wonder if Miami filled the paperwork on stretching Ryan anderson already.

If I'm OKC I wouldn't want to trade with Miami beacuase it would make the draft picks I already have coming from them worse. Russ and butler would be a top 4 team in the east

Pistons supposedly offered jackson snell, a top 5 protected 1st, and an unprotected first.

I think Wiggins + unprotected firsts gets us a seat at the table. Fyi i don't want Russell at all.

I'll vote no on a Westbrook deal. Not for 40+ million. I'm curious to watch our bargain basement team this year and the impending KAT "i want out" tantrums. Go Wolves!
