I agree, Bloop. Finch's performance as head coach here is one of the main reasons I want the Wolves to show some restrain in player personnel moves this off season. The Wolves are a very young team with some impressive young talent in Ant, McDaniels and even Vando - in addition to KAT, DLO and Beasley. I'd like to see what Finch can do with this roster having a full offseason and training camp and then a full season.

Better than what Adelman brought to the Wolves in my opinion.
I think it could be debated. I think there is a chance he is the 2nd best coach behind young flip in franchise history. I want to see it for a full year but I really enjoy him. Think he is hard on his players but not over the top like thibs. He will bench players for lack of effort. He rewards players with minutes who deserve them during the game. He has used challenges and timeouts smartly and I think he just knows the game really well.
I'm going to say it I think rosas might be legit good also. Yes he missed on Culver but it is looking like a pretty weak draft after Culver anyways. We can debate the Dlo trade for ever but I still don't hate it. He has won trades like the Beasley trade. But the thing he is good at is he has added 8 rookies in his life. I can legit give 5 of them A's based on where they were drafted or signed in Ant, Naz, McDaniels, Nowell, jmac. One incomplete in Bolmaro, one terrible pick in Culver, then Hagans but that is not a killer at all.
I never really thought Adelman did a very good job with the Wolves. I had higher expectations coming from Portland. Finch legitimately took a team that didn't have a heartbeat and breathed not only life into them but we just blew out another bad team by 32 points on their home floor, beat the top team in the West in back to backs, and Ant has went from looking like the wrong pick of the top 3 to looking like the ROY favorite that we aren't just hoping makes an all-star game but now hoping that he becomes one of the "it" players in the game. I'm already convinced Ant will keep Towns in Minnesota, which is much higher expectations than I would have ever thought for him. I credit most of this turnaround to Chris Finch, because they looked like another team since the All-Star Break.
I not sure if I am giving Finch way to much credit for Ant's growth but when I see the majority of the team playing up to their potential I tend to think it's a result of the coach influencing them in a positive way. Ant has really progressed under Finch to the point where I think he's arguably the best player on the team with upside to be a top 10 player in the league. He's 19 years old and that is draw dropping to think about, how much he has produced under a new coach. What might his and the Wolves future become?
Name a player that underperformed under Adelman during his time with the wolves compared to where they played later. JJ Barea? Wayne Ellington later became a nice player but Dante Cunningham who was acquired for Ellington flourished under Adelman. Remember Beasley actually had a nice run as a bench player for Adelman. Remember that Rubio got hurt as a rookie and then was not particularly effective the next season coming off the knee injury. Adelman really only had a healthy 1 season and that one he was dealing with the health of his wife.
If Finch becomes a Rick Adelman level coach Rosas will have hired a HOF level coach and that would be pretty huge for the franchise.
I think sometimes people forget some of the players Flip got something out of back in the day. He played some small ball too although obviously it helped to have KG playing as a PF in some of those lineups. Flip had a big playbook and had some specific ideas about how he wanted things but I also thought he was willing to try some new concepts. If Finch turns out to be the level of coach of Flip I would be pretty happy. It seems like with the Wolves coaches it's either pretty competent or horrendous.
