I was a big B Easy guy. I really thought beasley can put it all together and be a star here. He would at least be on the rudy gay/danny granger level for me at that time. It wasn't like he sucked.
But it was evident that you were never going to be a winner when he is one of your best players.

I also thought olowokandi was a great signing. I wanted rasho back by mid season.

I did. He was a 3 and d big. He make 3's and was a shot
blocking machine and excellent rebounder. He was wildly inconsistent though. He would have
a big game with in big minutes followed by a string of stinkers and by his 2nd season here, he was getting dnpcd. I did not understood then why casey wasnt playing him his 2nd year here. Only to find out
about his demons affer his tragic death.

Was he inconsistent... or did he simply suck?

He shot 29% on three pointers over parts of 3 seasons in MN. He was a career 37.7% shooter... overall...

He could block shots though.

I would stick with wildly inconsistent. There were games where he hits 3's and there were games where he pulled down 15+boards and that is playing with kg(a 14rpg guy back then). One thing for sure is that he always block shots and protected the rim when he played. So he did impct the games but his poor shooting can negate those impact. He didnt flat out suck but he was unreliable.
