Could one of you actually look up Flynn's stats before you rip him as a draft choice. Johnny was a good PnR PG coming into the NBA and played for a coach in Rambis that all but forbid him from running it, and instead forced him into the triangle. Somehow the kid still put up respectable numbers. The only negative is that he suffered a career ending injury.
It's fair to rip Flynn as a draft choice for this organization... in part because of the way they used him.
There was all sorts of speculation that Curry was the better pick at the time. And that would seem to make even more sense if they weren't going to let a pick-and-roll PG run the pick-and-roll.
And I know there was all sorts of confusion around that time with coaching timing and all of that. But that ultimately, goes back on the owner. Again.
