LOL, I didn't even know Wes Johnson was playing until now.

- Wes Johnson played 30 minutes. Julius Randle played 14 minutes. Anybody with insight into why?


They play completely different positions, so I think it's as simple as Randle being stuck behind Mirotic and one of the best players in the league and NO needing Wes to play lots of minutes at the wing

I'm not saying that they play the same position.

But Randle came in averaging 26 minutes... he played 14. Wes Johnson came in averaging 19 minutes... he played 30.

It might have just been that Randle sucked balls yesterday. He had 5 TOs and 4 fouls in those season-low 14 minutes. It was easily his worst game of the season.

He was hunting bad shots out there too while not involving his teammates at all. Looked a lot like Bazz yesterday.

Some good defense was played on Randle. As for why awesome Johnson was on the floor...the advanced stats the last couple years has him as a plus defender. Does he suck on offense? Yes. The question might be is he better than Darius Miller.
