So you would rather have 0 games of Zach instead of 20 games of wiggins. So hard to tell if a guy who could be special because of his athleticism in zach will ever be the same because of his ACL.

rooting for him but who knows what he will be

I forgot how much older and worn down KLove seems to be getting. I might reject that deal too. Otherwise I picked the other 6 favorites everyone seems to be going for. Someone voted for Giannis and Leonard though, so maybe they screwed up and didn't read the rules.

Some I was weary on, I guess I was imagining that they were signing extensions in this scenario also. Like Paul George and LeBron. I'm not giving up Wiggins for a half season of George. lol

This is why I specified a healthy Zach

Just saying we don't know what a healthy Zach looks like anymore

The annual wiggins trade thread is here again. I guess its an improvement it comes 20games into the season this time instead of 4 or 5 games the year prior.

Wiggins typicaly goes on a big run after threads like this one is made about him here in years past. So if that happens, thats a positive coming out of this thread.

Towns/Gibson/Len/G/Belly is a crowded frontcourt. I'd be all for a new backup C over G, but that definitely has to be a consideration when making that trade because G makes a good chunk of change to see even less minutes than he already is. And the worse he plays and less the team shows they value him the harder it's gonna be to move him.

Well, you disagree, so I know I'm on the right track

Really? That is how I should spend my day? Worried that a team that hasn't made the playoffs in THIRTEEN years and currently sports a negative point differential may become "too crowded". Do you actually know anything about Minnesota? The football team hasn't won a playoff game in 7 seasons, the baseball team hasn't won a playoff series in FIFTEEN seasons, and the hockey team consistently is near the top of the league in revenue and has won three playoffs series in 14 seasons, or one more than the Wolves. Apologies to you and all Minnesota pro athletes, but I want every team to be mall-of-america-food-court-on-christmas-eve and/or state-fair-midway-on-labor-day crowded.

But if that's a concern for you, then how about this: Gorgui/OKC to CHI for Mirotic. Mirotic is saying all the rights things and has a NTC, but he wouldn't want to stop looking at the guy who suckered punched him AND play for a potential winner? Toss in moving to a warmer climate with less taxes (true story) and it's a winner all the way around.

Next is Belly. I was actually scared coming to this board yesterday thinking I was going to see a "Belly is God" thread, but it seems people are starting to understand what "contract year" means. That's real growth. Everybody give yourself a hand. So move him before you lose him for nothing. Maybe package him with Patton and/or one of the PG's to improve their PG play.

If the Wolves make the PHX and CHI deals, they then then have a good C who is expiring, a better backup SF, and a better backup post who is a T/O next year, all at about the same salary, and only costing a bottom 10 first rounder.

....and should you decide to post something similar in the future about the Viking's QBs and/or DL, the Twins bullpen and/or OF, or the Wild D's, refer back to this post.

I see. Our franchise is so bad it isn't possible to be crowded at any position because nothing solves a quality problem like wildly mediocre quantity. Feel free to stick to your guns and play the new modern day game of 5 bigs out of your typical 9-10 man rotation. I think you're really on to something. When the modern game zigs you zag. We really need even more unplayable guys come crunch time against good teams.

Obviously you don't pay a lot of attention to the Wolves because we were playing our best ball last year with Belly closing games before he got hurt. He's been solid for more than just this contract year. If they were smart they'd get rid of G before letting Belly walk.

The Bazz Cole for Len Dudley is unlikely to happen for a number of reasons.

1. Both Bazz and Len have no trade clauses. It's possible neither guys would want to switch teams at this point. Bazz might not play at all on either team but he would be behind just as many players and likely on a team that won't win. For Len when the Suns do drop off and aren't trying to win he will probably start getting minutes over chandler. Also Len can't be traded till December 23.

2. We get back better players in both guys. The Suns are gonna dump a young guy in Len who is averaging almost a double double off the bench to save a few bucks? Yeah so know Sarver is cheap but if he is then they could just do a Cole for Dudley deal which the Wolves would likely be happy to do. Dudley is a useful player but the question of whether he can actually guard SF is something to consider. I'd still like to have him as a stretch 4.
